Biography* In the 1850 census, Catherine Liesenfelder's age is difficult to decipher. It looks like either 11 or 17. Probably 17, based on sequence. However, in the 1860 census there is a Catherine Liesenfelder in the householder, age 48, who is a domestic. Because the census does not show the relationship of Catherine to the head of household, it may be that she is a relative other than a child of Jacob and Elizabeth.

F, b. 13 February 1788, d. 19 January 1840
FatherEberhard Roos1
MotherAnna Catharina Jung1
Appears on charts:Ancestry of Aubrey Henry Herman
Biography* Degner: In the marriage record, both of Maria's parents were indicated as being deceased and her brother-in-law Johann Peter Roos signed for her parents. The document indicates she had two children previous to this marriage. It does not give a previous husband's name or the children's names. They were married on March 5, 1825 and she, her new husband Johann Georg Faber, Johann Georg's father Valentin, her brother-in-law Johann Peter Roos and two witnesses signed the document.1
Birth*13 Feb 1788 Pferdsfeld, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany2
Married Name5 Mar 1825 Faber1
Marriage*5 Mar 1825 Neal Degner: Their marriage paper was received from the Verbandsgemeide Verwaltung, Bad Sobernheim 55562, Germany. The Pferdsfeld church records for that time were transferred to the city of Winterburg which is near Pferdsfeld. The marriage paper is quite lengthy and the old German script is difficult to read. It does say that Maria had two previous children before her marriage to Johann Georg, their names are not given. It lists their parents and deaths of Maria's parents. A brother-in-law to Maria, Johann Peter Roos, signed for the parents along with Valentin Faber, the bridal pair and two other witnesses.
; Principal=Johann Georg Faber1
Death*19 Jan 1840 Pferdsfeld, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany; Degner: Maria died January 19, 1840 at 1 PM in Pferdsfeld according to her death record.3
